Daniel Phillip Henney (born November 28, 1979, Korean: 다니엘 헤니) is a South Korean actor. His father, Phillip, is an American of British descent, and his mother, Christine, is an American of Korean descent. However, there are some sources that suggest that Daniel's father is of mixed Irish and Native American descent.

Henney debuted as a model for several Korean and foreign ads. Of late, Henney co-starred in the Korean hit drama, "My Name is Kim Sam Soon". His talents were soon recognized and well received playing alongside Korean actress-singer Jeong Ryeo Won, who exhibited a doctor/patient relationship with Kim in the drama.
